When I left school, I went to Falmouth School of Art, I have always loved being creative, but struggled to find a suitable vocation in Cornwall that enabled me to live comfortably. 
I spent the last 13 years working in Cornwall Council run children's homes before taking a redundancy payment and making the brave step of setting up my own business. 

I decided to invest my redundancy money in myself and retrained to become an eyelash extension artist, after "falling in love" with some lash extensions I had done, I retrained and founded iLashtique and has seen it go from strength to strength.

 

I initially trained in individual eyelash extensions in October 2014, but quickly moved on with a real thirst for  training with acclaimed 'Lash Masters' all the while working as a mobile technician and steadily growing a firm and full client base. I am now salon based.

 

I quickly fell in love with 'Lash art' it enabled me to allow my creativity come back to life. I just love colour!

This year 2016 I decided to enter the UK Lash Battle fantasy photo competition entitled 'Wild Forest' 2016 in which I scooped third place. Which is a phenomenal achievement seeing as I am a relative newbie to the industry with less than 2 years experience.
